These cages are manufactured from UPE 62 Heavy uncoated pipe with a nominal diameter of 40mm and 3.54mm wall thickness. ( 0215HSANS MTP MTP). The pipes are Mig Welded to a 5mm base plate and have a 65mm x 8mm flatbar support welded on each side. (Inside) The base plate is supplied with holes to enable the cage to be bolted down with 12mm Rawl Bolts.
Although the cage is safe it is of utmost importance that proper safety procedures are followed by the operator at all times.
