TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Wheelquip would like to thank you for the opportunity to provide this quotation. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our Terms and Conditions. Our aim is to cover any possible inquiry you may have regarding our policies and provide you with a complete overview. This way our clients can be assured there will be no misunderstanding at a later stage and no hidden costs or policies to be discovered. Wheelquip believes in total transparency and ethical business practices, enforcing our policies strictly to provide an effective, consistent and reliable service to our clients.
Quotations and pricing
- Quotations are valid for 3 days from final quotation date.
- Quoted prices are NETT, they do not incorporate any liability of SABS mark fees and permits.
- The onus rests upon the embosser to apply for such certification.
- Wheelquip reserves the right to alter a price before final shipment in the event that an item was quoted on an incorrect or outdated price.
- A proforma invoice can be requested to ensure the prices are correct and up to date.
- Due to currency fluctuation currently experienced we have to qualify the validity of quotations. Wheelquip reserve the right to alter the price(s) should the equipment land at a different rate.
Payment terms and VAT
- Prices quoted exclude VAT. For export, VAT can only be excluded if we deliver the goods to our clearance agent at the nearest border. Payment must reflect on our bank statement in full before delivery/collection/installation can be done.
- For non-holding stock, a 50% deposit is required for the order to be placed.
- For special imports, full payment is required before the order can be placed.
- For cash payments we cannot accept more than N$20 000.00, if the amount is higher a bank transfer will have to be made.
- Bank charges for Cash Deposits at Bank will be on the customer’s account and must be paid before stock can be released.
- Due to fraud, we cannot accept any cheques.
- All account transactions need’s a signed company order.
- Any stock delivered remains the property of Wheelquip Namibia until the payment has been settled in full.
Quality and guarantee
- All CORGHI products are manufactured to the ISO 9001 & 9002 manufacturing specifications.
- CORGHI equipment carries a guarantee of 12 months (Unless otherwise stated).
- Misuse, abuse and voltage surge are excluded from the guarantee.
- For equipment outside of Namibian borders, guarantee only applies on a bring-in-basis. The Abroad stay-over-fees per day spent outside the border to attend to equipment still under guarantee will be for the clients account, payable in advance. Travelling and accommodation will be for the client's account.
- All guarantee is void if equipment is not installed by a Wheelquip appointed person.
Delivery
- Ex stock subject to prior sale.
- Delivery is not included, unless otherwise specified.
- Delivery may be free if all of the following conditions are met. > Total mass of equipment is less than 250kg
- > Delivery can be done on a scheduled trip to delivery site
- > Delivery site is within Namibian border
- A suitable and serviceable forklift must be available for off-loading equipment on site on arrival.
- Delivery rate and Accommodation will be quoted where applicable.
- Sub-Contractors or Courier companies will be used for deliveries to destinations outside of the Namibian border and will be for the clients account.
- Wheelquip does not take any liabilities on damaged or faulty equipment/items if not transported and delivered by Wheelquip staff and transport.
Installation
- Installation is not included, unless otherwise specified.
- Installations are done by our workshop department and quoted separately.
- Travelling rates and Accommodation will be quoted where applicable.
- Travelling and accommodation charges may be waivered should installation be done on a scheduled trip to the destination.
- Wheelquip brand equipment purchased second hand or elsewhere will be quoted at the applicable installation rate plus 40% provided it is in 100% working condition.
- The following on-site requirements must be met for installations to be done
- > Air and 220-volt connections must be within 1 meter of equipment
- > Ducting on spray booths may not exceed 2 meters (Unless otherwise stated on the quotation)
- > Mounting surfaces must be according to required specifications (Available from our office on request)
- > A suitable and serviceable forklift must be available for off-loading equipment on site on arrival of our installation team
- Any installation quotation excludes the following: Construction works / parts / outsourced works like engineering, welding or electrical works / connection of air hoses, water traps and electricity / roof sealing around the ducting and flooring extensions of spray booths / three phase connections / rental of forklift for offloading / trailers or vehicles to move equipment / removing any items from area of installation.
- If transport of equipment is arranged by client, all items must be on site before technician(s) can depart from the office.
- It remains the responsibility of the client to ensure all the above-mentioned conditions are met before the installation team arrives. Installations can only be done when all the required documents are signed by the client and undertakes that they will be present at the site of installation at commencement. Client or his authorised representative must be present at the time of completion of the installation to sign off the job.
- Should any of the above requirements and conditions not be met, Wheelquip reserves the right to leave the premises immediately without a refund. A new quotation will be issued and will be required to be paid in full before our team is send out again.
- In the event that requirements were not met and the technician decides to wait to commence/continue with the job (with permission from management), the daily waiting fee will be charged which is payable in advance on a daily basis. Accommodation and beverages will be for the client's account.
Workshop repairs
- All workshop quotations for repairs are provisional quotations and may be subject to change should more problems arise once the work quoted is done. Some problems will not be detectable before other problems are fixed or parts replaced.
- Workshop quotations excludes the following: construction work / parts / outsourced works like engineering, welding or electrical works / three-phase connections (unless otherwise stated).
- Storage fees will be charged 8 working days after notification of job completion.
- Equipment not collected and paid in full after 3 months will be sold to recover costs.
- Travelling fees and accommodation will be quoted where applicable.
- Travelling and accommodation charges may be waived should repairs be done on a scheduled trip to the destination.
- Air-tickets will be for the client's account.
- A waiting fee abroad is applicable and payable in advance for repairs or services done outside of the Namibian border, accommodation and beverages will be for the clients account.
